Complete with details galore, this Carhartt jacket has been transformed by Junya Watanabe of Comme des Garcons, who has reworked a previous release. The jacket now features a woollen plaid section, camo interior, leather elbow patches and more. Available in either brown or black, this collaborative variation is thought to be limited to around 100 pieces.
With the UNDFTD x Converse Poorman Navy release right around the corner, the UNDFTD crew put together a lookbook that fully captures the essence of the project. Taking you through a helicopter ride overlooking Los Angeles, the focus is on the specially developed MA-1 Flight Jacket as well as a styled look into the shoes themselves. The UNDFTD x Converse Poorman Navy Collection will release on January 29th at UNDFTD Silverlake (flyer with details below) and then online and at other UNDFTD Chapters the next day on January 30th.

Apple officially announces the launch of its iPad, an all-new device added to the already impressive Apple roster. A tablet capable of doing everything under the sun, the iPad comes fully equipped with the ability to play videos, browse the web, read digital books, and everything in between. In a third release, UNDFTD and Converse join forces to serve up a navy version of their popular Poorman Weapon. The previous two iterations included black/orange and olive/orange Overall, the sneaker’s shape and design remains largely intact except for the use of navy blue nylon with the ability to remove and affix Velcro patches and logos. This time around, the sneaker comes packaged with an MA-1 Flight Jacket and a Flight Helmet Bag. A release is slated for January 29th, 2010. Hirofumi Kiyonaga’s three brands, SOPH., uniform experiment and F.C.R.B. look to unveil their seasonal offerings towards the end of January and beginning of February. An early look into uniform experiment’s 2010 spring/summer collection presents the season’s theme of “SOUTH”. An element of travel and culture exploration seem to be defining influences into the aesthetics of the collection with a mock UE AIRWAYS sub-theme also shown. The collection for ue will be presented starting January 30th, 2010.


Denim label Edwin worked with ‘old friends’ Folk (and their footwear label Shofolk) on a number of great pieces for the season.
The EF-62 Denim sees Folk take advantage of the Edwin denim archives to create their own regular fitting, straight leg jean from organic, lightweight denim, adding some distinctly ‘Folk’ design features.
On the footwear side, we see Shofolk’s classic Armstrong boot and Alaric shoe incorporate Edwin detailing and branding (Edwin denim heel detail and logo tab) to give a distinctive and original look. Features premium leather and suede uppers with leather lining and waxed cotton laces. Available for purchase from End.
Taiwanese retailer Invincible joins an elite crowd as they embark on an upcoming collaboration with OriginalFake. First up is the following hoodie which features some familiar OriginalFake branding including both the ‘X X’ and the Chomper print. T-Shirts also featuring the ‘X X’ eyes and the Chomper print will be available. Two colors include black/purple and red/black, releasing at Invincible, ISETAN and OriginalFake Aoyama starting February 6th.
Suede & Mesh preview a selection of Nike runner styles set to release during this Spring/Summer season. Presented at the Bread & Butter Tradeshow, the collection showcases a variety of classic Air Max styles, most offered in advancement Nike motifs, including the use of its new Torch technology.
